So any holiday that celebrates working must be met with relaxation! It’s the perfect time for a long weekend…

Like the beach? Check out Miami Beach, Florida and sit in the sand and sun, maybe enjoy your favorite beverage. You could experience the nightlife, or enjoy some authentic Cuban coffee in Little Havana. Museums and galleries are just a few miles away to add a little culture to your weekend.

On a budget? Portland, Oregon is the best city when it comes to public transportation. So save money by skipping the car rental, but maybe bring a light jacket; it’s known to rain there quite often. Warm up with Boke Bowls and check out the lively Industrial District. You can’t leave without checking out one of their amazing flea markets.

History buff? Discover Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is well known for its deep-rooted history, as it was the place the first shot of the Civil War was fired. With so many museums, battlegrounds, and cemeteries to see, you will keep your mind racing for more. It’s a great place to just explore and let your mind wander back in time.

Into nature? How about Sedona, Arizona It’s one of America’s most beautiful places. There are never-ending boulders, rocks, and trails. Be sure to check out local spots for some natural spas and healing. It’s all about the natural experience.

Love the active life? Minneapolis, Minnesota is a great spot with 200 miles of biking and walking trails. There are plenty of places to visit while you keep moving.
